  • Performance must be made at such place as is provided by the obligation or by law.

  • In the absence of any provision in the obligation and in the law, the place of performance shall be governed by custom.
  • If there is no custom, the following rules apply:
  • (1) Delivery of a specific property must be made at the place where such property was when the obligation arose.
  • (2) In any other case, performance must be made at the residence of the debtor.
