TITLE I. Sale.
Chapter I. Nature and essentials of the contract of Sale.
Part I. General Provisions.
Section 453.

Section 454.
- The property sold may be:
- (1) A specific property, or
- (2) A divided or undivided part of a specific property, or
- (3) A property in genere, or
- (4) A right.

- The time of the completion of the contract of sale is referred hereafter as the time of the sale.

- [I] A sale of immovable property is void unless made in accordance with the laws and regulations relating thereto.
- [II] The same rule applies to ships or vessels having displacement of and over six tons, steam-launches or motor boats having displacement of and over five tons, floating-houses and beasts of burden.
