- การใช้เงินเพื่อแก้หน้าต้องทำให้เปนหลักฐานด้วยใบรับเขียนลงในตั๋วแลกเงิน ระบุความว่าได้ใช้เงินเพื่อบุคคลผู้ใด ถ้ามิได้ระบุตัวไว้ดั่งนั้น ท่านให้ถือว่าการใช้เงินนั้นได้ทำไปเพื่อผู้สั่งจ่าย
- ตั๋วแลกเงินกับทั้งคำคัดค้านหากว่าได้ทำคัดค้าน ต้องส่งให้แก่บุคคลผู้ใช้เงินเพื่อแก้หน้า

- [I] Payment for honour must be authenticated by a receipt given on the bill of exchange specifying for whom payment has been made. In default of this specification, payment is deemed to have been made for the drawer.
