- คำรับรองนั้นจะเขียนลงในคู่ฉีกฉบับใดก็ได้ และจะต้องเขียนลงในคู่ฉีกแต่เพียงฉบับเดียวเท่านั้น
- ถ้าผู้จ่ายรับรองลงไปกว่าฉบับหนึ่ง และคู่ฉีกซึ่งรับรองเช่นนั้นตกไปถึงมือผู้ทรงโดยชอบด้วยกฎหมายต่างคนกันไซร้ ท่านว่าผู้จ่ายจะต้องรับผิดตามคู่ฉีกนั้น ๆ ทุกฉบับ เสมือนดังว่าแยกเปนตั๋วเงินต่างฉบับกัน
