มาตรา 895
- เมื่อใดจะต้องใช้จำนวนเงินในเหตุมรณะของบุคคลคนหนึ่งคนใด ท่านว่าผู้รับประกันภัยจำต้องใช้เงินนั้นในเมื่อมรณภัยอันนั้นเกิดขึ้น เว้นแต่
- (๑) บุคคลผู้นั้นได้กระทำอัตตวินิบาตด้วยใจสมัครภายในปีหนึ่งนับแต่วันทำสัญญา ฤๅ

- [I] Whenever the sum is to be paid on the death of a person, the insurer is bound to pay it on such death unless :
- (1) Such person voluntarily committed suicide within one year after the date of the contract, or
