มาตรา 991
- ธนาคารจำต้องใช้เงินตามเช็คซึ่งผู้เคยค้ากับธนาคารได้ออกเบิกเงินแก่ตน เว้นแต่ในกรณีดังกล่าวต่อไปนี้ คือ
- (๑) ไม่มีเงินในบัญชีของผู้เคยค้าคนนั้นเปนเจ้าหนี้พอจะจ่ายตามเช็คนั้น ฤๅ
- (๒) เช็คนั้นยื่นเพื่อให้ใช้เงินเมื่อพ้นเวลาหกเดือนนับแต่วันออกเช็ค
