มาตรา 740

• ถ้าขายทอดตลาดได้เงินจำนวนสุทธิล้ำจำนวนเงินที่ผู้รับโอนเสนอว่าจะใช้ ท่านให้ผู้รับโอนเปนผู้ออกใช้ค่าฤชาธรรมเนียมในการขายทอดตลาด ถ้าได้ไม่ถึงล้ำจำนวน ท่านให้เจ้าหนี้ผู้ร้องขอให้ขายทอดตลาดเปนผู้ออก

• If the nett proceeds of the auction are more than the sum offered by the transferee, the costs of the auction shall be borne by him; otherwise, the creditor demanding the sale shall bear the costs of the auction.
