มาตรา 792

• นายคลังสินค้าต้องหักเงินที่ค้างชำระแก่ตนเนื่องด้วยการเก็บรักษาสินค้านั้นจากจำนวนเงินสุทธิที่ขายทอดตลาดได้ และเมื่อผู้ทรงประทวนสินค้านำประทวนมาเวนคืน ต้องเอาเงินที่เหลือนั้นให้ตามจำนวนที่ค้างชำระแก่เขา
• ถ้ามีเงินเหลือเท่าใด ต้องใช้แก่ผู้รับจำนำคนหลังเมื่อเขาเวนคืนใบรับของคลังสินค้า ฤๅถ้าไม่มีผู้รับจำนำคนหลัง ฤๅผู้รับจำนำคนหลังได้รับชำระหนี้แล้ว ก็ให้ชำระเงินที่เหลืออยู่นั้นแก่ผู้ทรงใบรับของคลังสินค้า

• [I] The warehouseman must deduct from the nett proceeds of the public auction the sums due to him in connection with the storage, and out of the balance he must, on surrender of the warrant, pay to the holder thereof the amount due to him.
• [II] Any surplus must be paid to the second pledgee on surrender of the warehouse receipt or, if there is no second pledgee or after he has been satisfied, to the holder of the warehouse receipt.
