มาตรา 932

• ตั๋วแลกเงินฉบับใดเขียนสั่งให้ใช้เงินในกำหนดระยะเวลาอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งนับแต่วันที่ลงในตั๋วเงินนั้น แต่หากมิได้ลงวันไว้ก็ดี ฤๅตั๋วเงินฉบับใดสั่งให้ใช้เงินในกำหนดระยะเวลาอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งนับแต่ได้เห็น แต่หากคำรับรองตั๋วนั้นมิได้ลงวันไว้ก็ดี ตั๋วแลกเงินเช่นว่ามานี้ ท่านว่าผู้ทรงจะจดวันออกตั๋วฤๅวันรับรองลงตามที่แท้จริงก็ได้ แล้วพึงให้ใช้เงินตามนั้น
• อนึ่ง ท่านบัญญัติไว้ว่า ในกรณีที่ผู้ทรงทำการโดยสุจริต แต่ลงวันคลาดเคลื่อนไปด้วยสำคัญผิด และในกรณีลงวันผิดทุกสฐาน หากว่าในภายหลังตั๋วเงินนั้นตกไปยังมือผู้ทรงโดยชอบด้วยกฎหมายแล้ว ตั๋วเงินจะเสียไปเพราะเหตุนั้นก็หาไม่ ท่านให้คงเปนตั๋วเงินที่ใช้ได้ และพึงใช้เงินกันเสมือนดังว่าวันที่ได้จดลงนั้นเปนวันที่ถูกต้องแท้จริง

• [I] Where a bill of exchange expressed to be payable at a fixed period after date is issued undated, or where the acceptance of a bill payable at a fixed period after sight is undated, any holder may insert therein the true date of issue or acceptance and the bill shall be payable accordingly.
• [II] Provided that where the holder in good faith and by mistake insert a wrong date and in every case where a wrong date is inserted, if the bill subsequently comes into the hands of a lawful holder the bill shall not be avoided thereby but shall operate and be payable as if the date so inserted had been the true date.
