มาตรา 944

• อันตั๋วแลกเงินซึ่งให้ใช้เงินเมื่อได้เห็นนั้น ท่านว่าย่อมจะพึงใช้เงินในวันเมื่อยื่นตั๋ว ทั้งนี้ต้องยื่นให้ใช้เงินภายในกำหนดเวลา ซึ่งบังคับไว้เพื่อการยื่นให้รับรองตั๋วเงินชนิดให้ใช้เงินในเวลาใดเวลาหนึ่งภายหลังได้เห็นนั้น

• A bill of exchange at sight is payable on presentment. It must be presented for payment within the time required for the presentment for acceptance of bills payable at a certain time after sight.
