BOOK III ON SPECIFIC CONTRACTS. (April 1924)
- The following text of the Draft for the Book III of the "Civil and Commercial Code for the Kingdom of Siam" was reconstructed from the Documents in Vols. 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 86, 87, 88, and 89 of “The Archives of the History of Thai Codification”.

Section 956.
- [I] A commission agent is a person who, in the ordinary course of his business, acts in his own name or in the name of his own firm on account of another.
- [II] He is personally liable, unless he has
especiallyexpressly acted for, and disclosed the name of, the principalin order to benefit by the provisions of Agency. - [III] However,
importation or exportation Agents whether called agents, commission-agents, factors, representatives or otherwise areunless otherwise provided by the agreement, the agent shall in all cases be personally liablefor the performance of the contracts entered into by them as suchif the principal is, and has his residence, abroad.
