มาตรา 992
- ธนคารจำเปนต้องบอกปัดไม่?ใช้เงินตามเช็คอันเบิกเงินแก่ตน เมื่อกรณีเปนดังกล่าวต่อไปนี้ คือ
- (๑) ถ้าผู้สั่งจ่ายได้สั่งงดการใช้เงิน ฤๅ
- (๒) ถ้าธนคารได้รับคำบอกกล่าวว่าผู้สั่งจ่ายตาย ฤๅรับคำบอกกล่าวว่าเซ็คนั้นหายฤๅถูกลักไป

- A banker is bound to refuse payment of a cheque drawn on him if:
- (1) The drawer has countermanded payment.
- (2) The banker has received notice of the dearth of the drawer, or notice that the cheque has been lost or stolen.
