มาตรา 12
- ลงจำนวนเงิน หรือปริมาณในเอกสารด้วยตัวอักษรและตัวเลข ถ้าตัวอักษรกับตัวเลขทั้งสองอย่างนั้นไม่ตรงกัน และศาลมิอาจหยั่งทราบเจตนาอันแท้จริงได้ไซร้ ให้ฟังเอาจำนวนเงินหรือปริมาณซึ่งเขียนเป็นตัวอักษรนั้นเป็นประมาณ
Section 12. (Draft in English from Vol.79)
- Whenever a sum or quantity is expressed in letters and in figures, and the two expressions do not agree, and the Court cannot ascertain the real intention, the expression in letters shall be held good.
