มาตรา 572
- อันว่าเช่าซื้อนั้น คือสัญญาซึ่งเจ้าของทรัพย์สินให้เช่า และให้คำมั่นว่าจะขายทรัพย์สินนั้นให้แก่ผู้เช่าเมื่อใช้เงินเปนจำนวนเท่านั้นเท่านี้คราว
- สัญญาเช่าซื้อนั้น หากมิได้ทำเปนหนังสือ ท่านว่าเปนโมฆะ

- [I] A hire-purchase is a contract under which the owner of a property lets it out on hire and promises to sell it to the hirer on his making a certain number of payments.
- [II] The contract of hire-purchase is void unless made in writing.
