มาตรา 783

• ผู้ทรงเอกสารอันมีทั้งใบรับของคลังสินค้าและประทวนสินค้านั้น จะให้นายคลังสินค้าแยกสินค้าที่เก็บรักษาไว้ออกเปนหลายส่วนและให้ส่งมอบเอกสารแก่ตนส่วนละใบก็ได้ ในกรณีเช่นนี้ผู้ทรงเอกสารต้องคืนเอกสารเดิมแก่นายคลังสินค้า
• อนึ่งค่าใช้จ่ายในการแยกสินค้าและการส่งมอบเอกสารใหม่นั้น ผู้ทรงเอกสารต้องรับใช้

• [I] The holder of the document including the warehouse receipt and the warrant may require the warehouseman to divide the goods stored and to deliver to him a separate document for each part. In such case, the holder must return the original document to the warehouseman.
• [II] The expenses for such division and for the delivery of the new documents must be borne by the holder.
