มาตรา 830

• อันเหตุที่ทำให้สัญญาตัวแทนระงับสิ้นไปนั้น จะเกิดแต่ตัวการ ฤๅตัวแทนก็ตาม ท่านห้ามมิให้ยกขึ้นเปนข้อต่อสู้คู่สัญญาอีกฝ่ายหนึ่ง จนกว่าจะได้บอกกล่าวเหตุนั้น ๆ ไปยังคู่สัญญาฝ่ายนั้นแล้ว ฤๅจนกว่าคู่สัญญาฝ่ายนั้นจะได้ทราบเหตุแล้ว

• The causes for extinction of agency, whether arising from the principal or agent, cannot be set up against the other party, until they have been notified to the other party or the latter has knowledge of them.
