- น่าที่ี่ของผู้ชำระบาญชี คือชำระสะสางการงารของห้างหุ้นส่วนฤๅบริษัทนั้นให้เสร็จไป กับจัดการใช้หนี้เงินและแจกจำหน่ายสินทรัพย์ของห้างหุ้นส่วนฤๅบริษัทนั้น

- The duties of the liquidators are to settle the affairs of the partnership or company, to pay its debts and to distribute its assets.
