มาตรา 501

• ทรัพย์สินซึ่งไถ่นั้น ท่านว่าต้องส่งคืนตามสภาพที่เปนอยู่ในเวลาไถ่ แต่ถ้าหากว่าทรัพย์สินนั้นถูกทำลาย ฤๅทำให้เสื่อมเสียไปเพราะความผิดของผู้ซื้อไซร้ ท่านว่าผู้ซื้อจะต้องใช้ค่าสินไหมทดแทน

• The property must be returned in the condition in which it is at the time of redemption, provided that if the property has been destroyed or deteriorated through the fault of the buyer he must pay compensation therefor.
