มาตรา 884
- ถ้าของซึ่งขนส่งนั้นได้เอาประกันภัยเมื่ออยู่ในระวางส่งเดิรทางไป ท่านให้คิดมูลประกันภัยในของนั้นนับรวมทั้งราคาของ ณ สถานที่และในเวลาที่ผู้ขนส่งได้รับของ และให้เพิ่มค่าระวางส่งของไปยังสถานที่ส่งมอบแก่ผู้รับตราส่ง กับทั้งค่าใช้จ่ายอื่น ๆ เนื่องด้วยการส่งของไปนั้นเข้าด้วย
- กำไรอันจะพึงได้ในเวลาเมื่อส่งมอบของนั้น ย่อมจะคิดรวมเข้าเปนมูลประกันภัยได้ต่อเมื่อได้มีข้อตกลงกันไว้เช่นนั้นชัดแจ้ง

- [I] If the goods carried are insured in course of their transportation, the insurable interest of such goods includes their value at the place where and at the time when they have been received by the carrier, increased by the freight to the place of delivery to the consignee and other expenses connected with transportation.
- [II] Profits to be made at the time when the goods were to be delivered, are included in the insurable interest only if there is an express agreement to that effect.
