มาตรา 885

• อันสัญญาประกันภัยในการรับขนนั้น ถึงแม้การขนส่งจะต้องสะดุดหยุดลงชั่วขณะ ฤๅจะต้องเปลี่ยนทางฤๅเปลี่ยนวิธีขนส่งอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดโดยเหตุจำเปนในระวางส่งเดิรทางก็ดี ท่านว่าสัญญานั้นก็ย่อมคงเปนอันสมบูรณ์อยู่ เว้นแต่จะได้ระบุไว้ในสัญญาเปนอย่างอื่น

• Unless otherwise specified by the contract, a contract of insurance on carriage remains valid if, under the necessities of transportation, the carriage is interrupted for a time, or there are modifications in the route or manner of carriage.
