มาตรา 37
- หญิงมีสามีนั้น ในส่วนที่เกี่ยวด้วยสินส่วนตัวย่อมมีอย่างบุคคลผู้บรรลุนีติภาวะ

The most plausible model for this section would be:
- A Digest of English Civil Law by Edward Jenks (1905), Sec.71:
- A married woman is now, as regards the acquisition and disposal of property, and the acquisition of rights and liabilities in contract and in tort, in the same position as a single woman.
