มาตรา 332
- ถ้าลูกหนี้จำต้องชำระหนี้ต่อเมื่อเจ้าหนี้จะต้องชำระหนี้ตอบแทนด้วยไซร้ ท่านว่าลูกหนี้จะกำหนดว่าต่อเมื่อเจ้าหนี้ชำระหนี้ตอบแทนจึงให้มีสิทธิรับเอาทรัพย์ที่วางไว้นั้นก็ได้

- If the debtor is bound to perform only after the counter-performance has been effected by the creditor, he may make the right of the creditor to receive the thing deposited dependent upon counter-performance by the creditor.

The most plausible model for this section would be:
- German Civil Code (1896), Sec.373;
- If the debtor is bound to perform only after the counter-performance has been effected by the creditor, he may make the right of the creditor to receive the thing lodged dependent upon counter-performance by the creditor.
