มาตรา 856
- อันว่าสัญญาบาญชีเดิรสพัดนั้น คือสัญญาซึ่งบุคคลสองคนตกลงกันว่าสืบแต่นั้นไป ฤๅในชั่วเวลากำหนดอันใดอันหนึ่ง ให้ตัดทอนบัญชีหนี้ทั้งหมด ฤๅแต่บางส่วนอันเกิดขึ้นแต่กิจการค้าขายในระหว่างเขาทั้งสองนั้นหักหนี้กลบลบกัน และคงชำระเงินกันแต่ส่วนที่เปนจำนวนคงเหลือโดยดุลยภาค

- A contract of current account is where two persons agree that henceforth of for a determinate period the amount of all or some only of the obligations arising from transactions between them shall be set off and that the balance only shall be paid.
