มาตรา 972
- ในกรณีใช้สิทธิไล่เบี้ยภายหลังการรับรองแต่บางส่วน ท่านว่าคู่สัญญาฝ่ายซึ่งใช้เงินอันเปนจำนวนเขาไม่รับรองนั้น อาจจะเรียกให้จดระบุความที่ใช้เงินนี้ลงไว้ในตั๋วเงินและเรียกให้ทำใบรับให้แก่ตนได้ อนึ่งผู้ทรงตั๋วเงินต้องให้สำเนาตั๋วเงินอันรับรองว่าถูกต้องแก่คู่สัญญาฝ่ายนั้น พร้อมทั้งคำคัดค้านด้วย เพื่อให้เขาสามารถใช้สิทธิไล่เบี้ยในภายหลังได้สืบไป
Section 972. (Final Draft of Dec. 1924 in English from Vol.88)
- In case of exercise of the right of recourse after a partial acceptance, the party who pays the sum in respect of which the bill has not been accepted can require that this payment should be specified on the bill, and that he should be given a receipt therefor. The holder must also give him a certified copy of the bill, together with the protest, in order to allow the exercise of subsequent recourse.
