มาตรา 999
- บุคคลใดได้เช็คขีดคร่อมของเขามาซึ่งมีคำว่า "ห้ามเปลี่ยนมือ" ท่านว่าบุคคลนั้นไม่มีสิทธิในเช็คนั้นยิ่งไปกว่า และไม่สามารถให้สิทธิในเช็คนั้นต่อไปได้ดีกว่าสิทธิของบุคคลอันตนได้เช็คของเขามา
Section 999. (Final Draft of Dec. 1924 in English from Vol.88)
- Where a person takes a crossed cheque which bears on it the words "not negotiable", he shall not have and shall not be capable of giving a better title to the cheque than that which the person from whom he took it had.
