มาตรา 1216
- กรรมการก็ดี ลูกจ้างและตัวแทนของบริษัทก็ดี จำต้องส่งสรรพสมุดและเอกสารทั้งปวงซึ่งตนเก็บรักษาฤๅอยู่ในอำนาจแห่งตนนั้นให้แก่ผู้ตรวจ
- ผู้ตรวจคนหนึ่งคนใดจะให้กรรมการ ลูกจ้าง และตัวแทนของบริษัทสาบานตัวแล้วสอบถามคำให้การในเรื่องอันเนื่องด้วยการงารของบริษัทนั้นก็ได้

- [I] The directors, employees and agents of the company are bound to produce to the inspectors all books and documents in their custody or power.
- [II] Any inspector may examine upon oath the directors, employees and agents of the company in relation to its business.
