มาตรา 768
- ถ้าจำนำทรัพย์สินหลายสิ่งเพื่อประกันหนี้แต่รายหนึ่งรายเดียว ท่านว่าผู้รับจำนำจะเลือกเอาทรัพย์สินสิ่งหนึ่งสิ่งใดออกขายก็ได้ แต่จะขายจนเกินกว่าที่จำเปนเพื่อใช้เงินตามสิทธิแห่งตนนั้นหาได้ไม่

- If several properties are pledged as security for one obligation, the pledgee may sell such of them as he may select, but he may not sell more than is necessary for the satisfaction of his right.
