มาตรา 516
- ถ้าผู้สู้ราคาสูงสุดละเลยเสียไม่ใช้ราคาไซร้ ท่านให้ผู้ทอดตลาดเอาทรัพย์สินนั้นออกขายอีกซ้ำหนึ่ง ถ้าและได้เงินเปนจำนวนสุทธิไม่คุ้มราคาและค่าขายทอดตลาดชั้นเดิม ผู้สู้ราคาเดิมคนนั้นต้องรับผิดในส่วนที่ขาด

- If the highest bidder fails to pay the price, the auctioneer shall resell the property. If the nett proceeds of such sale do not cover the price and costs of the original auction, the original bidder is liable for the difference.
