มาตรา 538

• เช่าอสังหาริมทรัพย์ หากมิได้ทำเปนหนังสือ ท่านว่าเปนโมฆะ
• อนึ่งถ้าเช่ากันมีกำหนดกว่าสามปีขึ้นไป หากมิได้จดทะเบียนต่อพนักงานผู้เปนเจ้าน่าที่ด้วยไซร้ ท่านว่าการเช่านั้นคงเปนอันสมบูรณ์แต่เพียงสามปี
