มาตรา 727
- ถ้าบุคคลคนเดียวจำนองทรัพย์สินแห่งตน เพื่อประกันหนี้อันบุคคลอื่นจะต้องชำระ ท่านให้ใช้บทบัญญัติ มาตรา ๗๐๐ และ ๗๐๑ ว่าด้วยค้ำประกันนั้นบังคับอนุโลมตามควร

- If a person has mortgaged his property as security for the performance of an obligation by another person, the provisions of Sections 700 and 701 concerning Suretyship apply mutatis mutandis.
