มาตรา 759
- ผู้รับจำนำจำต้องรักษาทรัพย์สินจำนำไว้ให้ปลอดภัย และต้องสงวนทรัพย์สินจำนำนั้นเช่นอย่างวิญญูชนจะพึงสงวนทรัพย์สินของตนเอง

- The pledgee is bound to keep the pledged property in safe custody and take as much care of it as a person of ordinary prudence would take of his own property.
