มาตรา 813
- ตัวแทนผู้ใดตั้งตัวแทนช่วงตามที่ตัวการระบุตัวให้ตั้ง ท่านว่าตัวแทนผู้นั้นจะต้องรับผิดแต่เพียงในกรณีที่ตนได้รู้ว่าตัวแทนช่วงนั้นเปนผู้ที่ไม่เหมาะแก่การ ฤๅเปนผู้ที่ไม่สมควรไว้วางใจแล้ว และมิได้แจ้งความนั้นให้ตัวการทราบ ฤๅมิได้เลิกถอนตัวแทนช่วงนั้น เสียเอง

- The agent who appoints a subagent designated by the principal is liable only in case he knew his unfitness or untrustworthiness and omitted to inform the principal thereof or to revoke the subagency.
