มาตรา 942
- อันจะบังคับให้ผู้ทรงตั๋วแลกเงินรับเงินใช้ก่อนตั๋วเงินถึงกำหนดนั้นท่านว่าหาอาจจะทำได้ไม่
- อนึ่ง ผู้จ่ายคนใดใช้เงินไปแต่ก่อนเวลาตั๋วเงินถึงกำหนด ท่านว่าย่อมทำเช่นนั้นด้วยเสี่ยงเคราะห์ของตนเอง

- [I] The holder of a bill of exchange cannot be compelled to receive payment thereof before maturity.
- [II] The drawee who pays before maturity does so at his own risk and peril.
