มาตรา 1179
- การประชุมใหญ่เรียกนัดเวลาใด เมื่อล่วงเวลานัดนั้นไปแล้วถึงชั่วโมงหนึ่ง จำนวนผู้ถือหุ้นซึ่งมาเข้าประชุมยังไม่ครบถ้วนเปนองค์ประชุมดังบัญญัติไว้ใน มาตรา ๑๑๗๘ นั้นไซร้ หากว่าการประชุมใหญ่นั้นได้เรียกนัดเพราะผู้ถือหุ้นร้องขอ ท่านให้เลิกประชุม
- ถ้าการประชุมใหญ่นั้น มิใช่ชนิดซึ่งเรียกนัดเพราะผู้ถือหุ้นร้องขอไซร้ ท่านให้เรียกนัดใหม่อีกคราวหนึ่งภายในสิบสี่วัน และการประชุมใหญ่ครั้งหลังนี้ ท่านไม่บังคับว่าจำต้องครบองค์ประชุม

- [I] If within an hour from the time appointed for the general meeting the quorum prescribed by Section 1178 is not present, the meeting, if summoned upon the requisition of shareholders, shall be dissolved.
- [II] If the general meeting had not been summoned upon the requisition of shareholders, another general meeting shall be summoned within fourteen days and at such meeting no quorum shall be necessary.
