มาตรา 250
- การครองทรัพย์สินสูญสิ้นไป สิทธิยึดหน่วงก็เป็นอันระงับสิ้นไปด้วย แต่ความที่กล่าวนี้ท่านมิให้ใช้บังคับแก่กรณีที่ทรัพย์สินอันยึดหน่วงไว้นั้นได้ให้เช่าไปหรือจำนำไว้ด้วยความยินยอมของลูกหนี้

- A right of retention is extinguished by the loss of possession of the property; but this does not apply to the case where the property retained is let or pledged with the consent of the debtor.

- A lien is extinguished by the loss of possession except when the thing has been let out to hire or pledged in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of Art. 298.
