มาตรา 27
- ผู้เยาว์จะขออนุญาตผู้แทนโดยชอบธรรมเพื่อทำกิจการค้าขายรายหนึ่งหรือหลายรายก็ได้ ถ้าผู้แทนโดยชอบธรรมไม่อนุญาต และผู้เยาว์ร้องขอต่อศาลๆ จะมีคำสั่งมอบอำนาจให้ผู้เยาว์ทำกิจการค้าขายก็ได้ เมื่อเห็นว่าการนั้นจะเป็นคุณประโยชน์แก่ผู้เยาว์

- A minor may ask permission from his legal representative to carry on one or more businesses. In case of refusal by the latter, the Court may, on application by the minor, make an order authorising him to carry on business if it is of opinion that the order will be advantageous to him.

- [I] ผู้เยาว์นั้น เมื่อผู้แทนโดยชอบธรรมอนุญาตแล้ว ฤๅไม่ยอมอนุญาตแต่ศาลอนุญาต ให้ประกอบการงานเช่นว่าพาณิชยกรรม อุตสาหกรรม ฤๅรับภาระธุระอื่นๆ ในกรณีเช่นว่านั้น จงถือว่าผู้เยาว์มีความสามารถเท่าผู้ใหญ่เพียงเฉภาะการงานนั้นเอง
- [II] อนึ่งผู้แทนโดยชอบธรรมฤๅศาลที่ได้อนุญาตนั้น เมื่อเห็นปรากฏว่าบุคคลนั้นไม่สามารถจะทำการงานได้ตามสมควรแล้ว จะกลับถอนคืนอนุญาตเช่นว่านั้นก็ได้
