มาตรา 560
- ถ้าผู้เช่าไม่ชำระค่าเช่า ผู้ให้เช่าจะเลิกสัญญาเสียก็ได้
- แต่ถ้าค่าเช่านั้นจะพึงส่งเปนรายเดือน ฤๅส่งเปนระยะเวลายาวกว่ารายเดือนขึ้นไป ผู้ให้เช่าต้องบอกกล่าวแก่ผู้เช่าก่อนว่าให้ชำระค่าเช่าภายในเวลาใด ซึ่งพึงกำหนดอย่าให้น้อยกว่าสิบห้าวัน

- [I] In case of non-payment of rent, the letter may terminate the contract.
- [II] But, if the rent is payable at monthly or longer intervals, the letter must first notify the hirer that payment is required within a period of not less than fifteen days.
