มาตรา 969
- คู่สัญญาฝ่ายซึ่งเข้าถือเอาและใช้เงินตามตั๋วแลกเงินอาจจะเรียกเอาเงินใช้จากคู่สัญญาทั้งหลายซึ่งต้องรับผิดต่อตนได้ คือ
- (๑) เงินเต็มจำนวนซึ่งตนได้ใช้ไป
- (๒) ดอกเบี้ยในจำนวนเงินนั้น คิดอัตราร้อยละห้า แต่วันที่ได้ใช้เงินไป
- (๓) ค่าใช้จ่ายต่าง ๆ อันตนต้องออกไป
- (๔) ค่าชักส่วนลดจากต้นเงินจำนวนในตั๋วแลกเงิน ตามที่กำหนดไว้ในมาตรา ๙๖๘ (๔)

- A party who takes up and pays a bill of exchange can recover from the parties liable to him:
- (1) The entire sum which he has paid.
- (2) Interest on the said sum calculated at the rate of 5 per cent, starting from the day when he made payment.
- (3) Expenses which he has incurred.
- (4) Commission on the principal sum of the bill of exchange fixed in conformity with Section 968 (4).
