《Comments》

The most plausible model for this section would be:

  • Japanese Civil Code (1896,98), Art.21:
    • The principal place where a person lives is his domicile.

The other miscellaneous sources are as follows:

  • French Civil Code (1804), Art.102:
    • The domicile of every Frenchman is, as far as regards the exercise of his civil rights, in that place where he has his principal establishment.
  • Swiss Civil Code (1907), Art.23:
    • The residence of a person is the place in which he sojourns with the intention of a continuing stay. No one can have a residence in several places at one time. The business visit is not contemplated by this provision.
