《Comments》
The most plausible model for this section would be:
- Japanese Civil Code (1896,98), Art.24:
- The temporary (provisional) domicile selected with regard to a certain act is deemed to be the domicile with regard to such act.
The other miscellaneous sources are as follows:
- Civil Code of Brazil (1916), Art.42:
- The contracting parties in written contracts may specify a domicile where the rights and obligations resulting therefrom may be exercised and performed.
- Civil Code of Argentina (1871), Art.101:
- Persons may in their contracts select a special domicile for the performance of their obligations.
- Swiss Civil Code (1907), Art.23:
- The residence of a person is the place in which he sojourns with the intention of a continuing stay. No one can have a residence in several places at one time. The business visit is not contemplated by this provision.
