มาตรา 343
- การหักกลบลบหนี้นั้น ถึงแม้ว่าสถานที่ซึ่งจะต้องชำระหนี้ทั้งสอง[ฝ่าย]จะต่างกัน ก็หักกันได้ แต่ฝ่ายผู้ขอหักหนี้จะต้องใช้ค่าเสียหายให้แก่อีกฝ่ายหนึ่ง เพื่อความเสียหายอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดอันเกิดแต่การนั้น
Section 343. (Draft in English from Vol.79)
- A set off may be made even though the place of performance of the two obligations is different; but the party who makes the set off must indemnify the other party for any damage caused thereby.
