DIVISION II. OF SOME PARTICULAR KINDS OF OBLIGATIONS.
TITLE IV. Plurality of creditors and debtors.
Chapter I. General Provisions.
Section 154.
- If there are several creditors or several debtors, the obligation is presumed to be divided, that is to say, each creditor or debtor is presumed to have a separate share in the rights or liabilities arising out of the obligation.

- The shares of each creditor or debtor are presumed to be equal.

- [I] A creditor is not entitled to claim performance for more than his share.
- [II] A debtor is not bound to perform more than his share.
