มาตรา 824
- ตัวแทนคนใดทำสัญญาแทนตัวการซึ่งอยู่ต่างประเทศและมีภูมิลำเนาในต่างประเทศ ท่านว่าตัวแทนคนนั้นจะต้องรับผิดตามสัญญานั้นแต่ลำพังตนเอง แม้ทั้งชื่อของตัวการจะได้เปิดเผยแล้ว เว้นแต่ข้อความแห่งสัญญาจะแย้งกันกับความรับผิดของตัวแทน
Section 824. (Final Draft of Dec. 1924 in English from Vol.88)
- An agent who makes a contract on behalf of a principal who is, and has his domicile, in a foreign country is personally liable on the contract although the name of the principal has been disclosed, unless the terms of the contract are inconsistent with his liability.
