มาตรา 988
- อันเช็คนั้น ย่อมมีรายการดังกล่าวต่อไปนี้ คือ
- (๑) คำแถลงว่าเปน "เช็ค"
- (๒) คำสั่งอันปราศจากเงื่อนไขให้ใช้เงินเปนจำนวนแน่นอน
- (๓) ชื่อ ฤๅยี่ห้อ และสำนักของธนาคาร
- (๔) ชื่อ ฤๅยี่ห้อของผู้รับเงิน ฤๅคำแถลงว่าให้ใช้เงินแก่ผู้ถือ
- (๕) สถานที่ใช้เงิน
- (๖) วันและสถานที่ออกเช็คนั้น
- (๗) ลายมือชื่อผู้สั่งจ่าย

- A cheque contains:
- (1) A statement that it as a "cheque";
- (2) An unconditional order to pay a sum certain in money;
- (3) The name or trade name and address of the banker;
- (4) The name or trade name of the payee, or a statement that it is payable to bearer;
- (5) A statement of the place where the payment is to be made;
- (6) A statement of the date and place where the cheque is issued;
- (7) The signature of the drawer.
