มาตรา 996
- การขีดคร่อมเช็คตามที่อนุญาตไว้ในมาตราก่อนนั้น ท่านว่าเปนส่วนสำคัญอันหนึ่งของเช็ค ใครจะลบล้างย่อมไม่เปนการชอบด้วยกฎหมาย
Section 996. (Final Draft of Dec. 1924 in English from Vol.88)
- A crossing authorized in the foregoing Section is a material part of the cheque. It shall not be lawful for any person to obliterate it.
