มาตรา 1040
- ห้ามมิให้ชักนำเอาบุคคลผู้อื่นเข้ามาเปนหุ้นส่วนในห้างหุ้นส่วน โดยมิได้รับความยินยอมของผู้เปนหุ้นส่วนหมดด้วยกันทุกคน เว้นแต่จะได้ตกลงกันไว้เปนอย่างอื่น

- No person may be introduced as a partner in the partnership without the consent of all the partners, unless there be an agreement providing otherwise.
