มาตรา 403
- ถ้าผู้จัดการมิได้มีบุรพเจตนาจะเรียกให้ตัวการชดใช้คืน ผู้จัดการก็ย่อมไม่มีสิทธิเรียกร้องเช่นนั้น
- การที่บิดารมารดา ปู่ย่า ตายาย บำรุงรักษาผู้สืบสันดานเป็นทางอุปการะก็ดี หรือกลับกันเป็นทางปฏิการะก็ดี เมื่อกรณีเป็นที่สงสัยท่านให้สันนิษฐานไว้ก่อนว่าไม่มีเจตนาจะเรียกให้ผู้รับประโยชน์ชดใช้คืน

- [II] If parents or grandparents furnish maintenance to their descendants, or vice versa, it is to be presumed, in case of doubt, that there is no intention to demand reimbursement from the recipient.

The most plausible model for this section would be:
- German Civil Code (1896), Sec.685;
- [I] The agent does not have any claim if he had not the intention to demand reimbursement from the principal.
- [II] If parents or grandparents furnish maintenance to their descendants, or vice versa, it is to be presumed, in case of doubt, that there is no intention to demand reimbursement from the recipient.
