มาตรา 550
- ผู้ให้เช่าย่อมต้องรับผิดในความชำรุดบกพร่องอันเกิดขึ้นในระวาง[=ระหว่าง]เวลาเช่า และผู้ให้เช่าต้องจัดการซ่อมแซมทุกอย่างบรรดาซึ่งเป็นการจำเป็นขึ้น เว้นแต่การซ่อมแซมชนิดซึ่งมีกฎหมายหรือจารีตประเพณีว่าผู้เช่าจะพึงต้องทำเอง

- The letter is liable for any defects which arise during the continuance of the contract and he must make all the repairs which may become necessary, except those which are by law or custom to be done by the hirer.
