มาตรา 502

• ทรัพย์สินซึ่งไถ่นั้น ท่านว่าบุคคลผู้ไถ่ย่อมได้รับคืนไปโดยปลอดจากสิทธิใดๆ ซึ่งผู้ซื้อเดิม ฤๅทายาท ฤๅผู้รับโอนจากผู้ซื้อเดิมก่อให้เกิดขึ้นก่อนเวลาไถ่
• อนึ่ง การเช่าทรัพย์สินอันได้ลงทะเบียนต่อพนักงานเจ้าน่าที่นั้น หากมิใช่ทำขึ้นเพื่อจะให้เสียหายแก่ผู้ขายแล้ว ท่านว่ากำหนดเวลาเช่ายังคงมีเหลืออยู่อีกเพียงใด ก็ให้คงเปนอันสมบูรณ์อยู่เพียงนั้น แต่มิให้เกินกว่าปีหนึ่ง

• [I] The person who redeems the property recovers it free from any rights created by the original buyer or his heirs or transferees before redemption.
• [II] A hire of property registered by the proper official shall be valid for not more than one year of its remaining duration, provided that the hire is not made for the purpose of injuring the seller.
