มาตรา 527
- ถ้าผู้ให้ผูกตนไว้ว่าจะชำระหนี้เป็นคราวๆ ท่านว่าหนี้นั้นเป็นอันระงับสิ้นไปเมื่อผู้ให้หรือผู้รับตาย เว้นแต่จะขัดกับเจตนาอันปรากฏแต่มูลหนี้

- If a donor binds himself to make periodical performances the obligation is extinguished on the death either of the donor or of the donee unless a contrary intention appears from the obligation.

The most plausible model for this section would be:
- Japanese Civil Code (1896/98), Art.552;
- A gift which has a periodical prestation (periodically recurrent payments) for its subject loses its effect on the death of either the donor or the donee.
